Arkansas Temporary Restraining Order Bond
AmeriPro Surety Bonds | 844-589-9732
An Arkansas temporary restraining order bond is not altogether different from an injunction bond. Both are required of a Plaintiff in a Court matter; and both are required to protect any subsequently determined loss to a Defendant(s) as a result of the injunction obtained by the Plaintiff.
The main difference is that a temporary restraining order is obtained ex-parte, that is, this Court-order may be issued without the presence of the other party.
Arkansas Rule 65 is the relevant statute for temporary restraining orders.
The amount of the surety bond required will be determined by the presiding Court.
Qualifying and the Premium
Qualifying for an Arkansas temporary restraining order bond includes completing a short surety bond application, and undergoing an underwriter review; this latter includes a credit check.
We will also need a copy of the Court-order which mandates the temporary restraining order (TRO surety bond). This Order will provide us with needed information for your surety bond: The case number and the names of the parties to the case; also, the Court’s venue and location.
Approval is predicated upon good credit, and the premium is 2% of the amount required. For surety bond amounts $25,000 and less, we offers this TRO surety bond without a credit check inquiry, upon completion of an application and the providing of the Court-order.
Once your surety bond is approved and the payment made, our agency provides you an original surety bond and a Power of Attorney form.
The surety bond is signed by you as Principal and filed along with the POA form to the Clerk of the Court.
Annual Renewal of Your Premium
The premium for your Arkansas TRO surety bond renews annually on the anniversary of your bond’s issuance for as long as the Court requires surety.
