are required to be licensed by the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board.   As a condition of licensing, you will also need to furnish the board with evidence of a $15,000 or $30,000 surety bond.

Surety Bond Amounts - Qualifying

The $15,000 Alabama onsite wastewater board surety bond is required of those who are candidates for the following licenses:

• Basic installer license;
• Pumper license;
• Manufacturers license;
• Portable restroom license.

The $30,000 surety bond is required of those licensees who have an Advanced Level I License or and Advanced Level II license.

Qualifying for both of these bonds is very simple. After completion of a surety bond application and payment of the corresponding premium, the bond is issued to you immediately.
