It is the Arkansas Department of Labor which both licenses and regulates private employment agencies in the state.
A condition of licensing is that in compliance with Title 11, § 11-11-213, a private employment agency must also obtain a $5,000 surety bond. Meeting the surety bond requirement will be the easiest and quickest part of your licensing process.
You are automatically approved for the $5,000 Arkansas private employment agency bond. After completion of a short surety bond application --- and we’ll take the application from you over the phone – and payment of the $100 premium, the bond is issued to you immediately.
Note: there is no credit check nor underwriter review for this bond; it is issued to you immediately.
After payment of the premium, the original surety bond will be sent to you by the following business day. This bond will have our signature as Surety, and will require your signature as Principal before filing with the Department.
A copy of the surety bond can also be emailed to you for no additional charge.
The private employment agency bond, at $100 premium, is active for one year.
You also have the option to prepay your surety bond for up to 3 years. Prepayment allows for greater intervals between renewals and a savings over year to year renewal of your premium. The premium prepayment options and savings are as follows:
The surety bond requirement is a financial guarantee which ensures your compliance with all laws and regulations relating to private employment agencies.
