Delaware Public Adjuster License
As a newly licensed or renewal license for a Delaware public adjuster bond, one of the prerequisites is that you obtain a $20,000 surety bond.
Our agency offers this bond within a matter of minutes from when you call us.
Qualifying and the Premium
Our agency offers you the $20,000 Delaware public adjuster bond without a credit check; therefore, all applicants are automatically approved.
When you call us, we’ll just ask you the basics: The name and address that should appear on your surety bond, along with a phone number and an email address.
After paying the $200 annual premium, our agency issues your bond and Power of Attorney (POA) form to you immediately.
Upon receipt in the mail of the original bond, you’ll sign it as Principal, filing it with your POA document to:
State of Delaware
State of Delaware Division of Licensing
Dover, DE 19903
Premium Prepayment Options
The $200 premium for your public adjuster surety bond renews annually. Our agency also offers you the option to prepay your bond’s premium up to 3 years.
Doing so saves you over paying annually, besides of course lengthening the time between renewal periods.
The premium prepayment option and savings breakdown as follows:
- If prepaid for 2 years, the premium is $360, a $40 savings;
- If prepaid for 3 years, the premium is $520, an $80 savings.
Purpose of Your Surety Bond Requirement
