When you call us, to obtain the bond, our agency will need the following from you:
- The term of your commission. This is crucial because if the term on your bond does not exactly correspond with the term of your commission, the bond will be rejected by the Secretary of State;

- Whether your appointment is a new appointment or re-appointment;
- For re-appointments, if your name has changed since the first appointment, the applicant name change.
After this, once the premium of $50 has been paid, our agency will issue the bond to you immediately. The original bond which, in the format provided by the Kansas Secretary of State will be sent to you for completing.
Purpose of your Bond
