Cement finishing contractors are required to obtain a $10,000 surety bond as a condition of performing contractual work in Minneapolis.
The surety bond, required pursuant to Chapter 277.3030 of the city’s statutes, serves as a financial guarantee that you will be in compliance with all statutes regarding cement finishing; and that you will that you will refund any unfinished contract work in accordance with the limitations stated within the statute.
