Nebraska Private Detective Bond
AmeriPro Surety Bonds | 844-589-9732
Surety Bond; Purpose
Licensed private detective agencies in Nebraska and private detectives are required by the state’s Secretary of State to obtain a $10,000 surety bond.
The surety bond requirement serves as a financial guarantee of your compliance with Section 71-3207, Revised Statutes of Nebraska, as may be amended.
In short, this statute indicates that you will not be involved in malicious, willful, or harmful behavior in the performance of your professional duties. While the surety bond is required of you, the protections it affords are for the benefit of the state of Nebraska and its citizenry.
Qualifying and the Premium
Our agency automatically approves you for the $10,000 Nebraska private detective bond. There is no credit check, nor an application to sign; our agency will ask you the information needed by phone.
This information is just the basics: The name, as it should appear on your surety bond (i.e. you’ll want the name on your bond to match any other paperwork that you’ll be filing with the Nebraska Secretary of State).
Your bond, according to Nebraska rules, is issued for a two-year term. Our agency offers you this bond for $180 for 2 years.
Upon providing us with the information needed on your surety bond and payment of the premium, our agency issues your bond and a Power of Attorney form to you immediately.
We will notarize your bond as Surety, and upon receipt by mail, you’ll sign your surety bond as Principal.
Both your completed surety bond and Power of Attorney form will be filed by you to:
