The Public Service Commission requires auctioneer and auction clerks to purchase a surety bond. The bonds are in two separate amounts:
Both the $5000 auctioneer bond and the $10,000 auction clerk are each $100, annually.
Applicants for either surety bonds are automatically approved and there is no credit check.
We’ll just ask you which bond you need, and the name, exactly as it should appear on your surety bond.
Then we’ll ask for your address, email, and phone number. After payment of the annual premium of $100, our agency issues your bond to you.
The bond will be notarized by as Surety; and upon receipt, you’ll have your bond notarized as Principal. You will also file a Power of Attorney form, which we’ll send to you as well.

The premium for either bonds is $100 annually. You may prepay your bond up to 3 years, thereby offering you a savings over annual renewals.
