The Denver special contractor bond is a $10,000 surety bond required of contractors who engage in contracting work as listed above, in the city of Denver or Denver County.
Qualifying for this bond involves completion of a surety bond application, and payment of the $100 premium. There is no credit inquiry and no standard underwriting involved in this surety bond. The bond is issued to you immediately upon receipt of the premium.
After payment of the premium, a copy of this bond can be emailed to you and the original will follow to be mailed by the same or the following business day.
The special contractor bond is issued for a standard period of one year for $100. You may also choose to prepay this bond for 2 or 3 years, thereby offering you a savings over year to year renewal of the bond’s premium.
