Idaho Sewage Disposal Installer Bond
AmeriPro Surety Bonds | 844-589-9732
Sewage Disposal Installers
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality requires sewage disposal installers to be licensed and furnish a surety bond in one of two amounts:
- A $5,000 surety bond for a basic installer;
- A $15,000 surety bond for a complex installer.
Meeting the surety bond requirement with our agency will take just a few minutes.
Of note is that regardless of the issuance of your bond, it will have an expiration of December 31st of the year in which it’s issued.
Qualifying and the Premium
You are automatically approved for the Idaho sewage disposal installer bond, in either the $5,000 or $15,000 surety bond amount. There is no credit check requirement nor review by an underwriter.
Both bond amounts, in fact, have the same annual premium of $100.
After completing an application in which we ask you the basics – the name that you want on your surety bond, your address and contact information, and payment of the $100 premium — our agency issues this bond to you immediately.
Our agency will mail the bond to you for filing. Once received, you’ll sign your bond as Principal.
It is the original surety bond that you will need to file with the Department.
Additional Premium Payment Options
Regardless of the date of issuance, your bond will expire on December 31st.
The option exists to prepay your surety bond for up to 3 years, which will save you slightly over year to year renewal of your bond’s premium.
The premium prepayment options and savings are as follows:
- If prepaid for 2 years, the premium is $180, a $20 savings;
- If prepaid for 3 years, the premium is $260, a $40 savings.
