The Vermont liquor agent bond is also referred to as a Vermont liquor control bond. The surety bond is required as a condition of licensing with the Department of Liquor and Lottery, Division of Liquor control.
The amount of the Vermont liquor agent bond is at least $10,000, but may be in a higher amount. This amount that will be determined by the Commisisoner.
Qualifying for this bond includes the completion of a short surety bond application --- which we’ll begin with you over the phone – but which will require your signature and that of a witness for completing.

Whatever your surety bond amount, the option exists to prepay that amount up to 3 years.
However, you may wish to keep in mind that the Commissioner may require a different surety bond amount within 12 months. Nevertheless, the option is still available to you.
